Can you help us provide care for these dogs? We cannot do it alone. These are the cast-offs, the problems that other people couldn't, or wouldn't take care of. We are willing to make the effort, but our funds can only go so far. Our volunteers are ready and willing to provide care for these little ones during their treatments, and throughout their recoveries... however long that may be. They are all un-paid volunteers, and many of them will lose hours, and hours of their own time transporting their charges back and forth to the Vets offices for treatments, and follow-up visits. They will lose sleep and give up their social lives to be available to soothe them, and medicate them exactly when their meds are due. They are doing what others can't, but the funds have to come from those of you out there who care enough to want to be part of their recoveries, too! Please send whatever you can, no amount is too small every little bit helps. If you can only sent $5, and then maybe next month another $5, please do so! What a cutie.....this little girl was surrendered to us by an owner who used her to have a litter of puppies 8 wks. ago that they could sell, but didn't want to pay for Heartworm treatment that is needed because they also did not pay for any preventative for her in the first place.....!!!! She will be in Rescue for a while while she recovers from having the puppies, and going through treatment for Heartworms. Won't you please help us to help her......??

(No photo available.......does anyone have a digital camera to donate..??) Scoobie was picked up in the Panhandle of Florida by a local shelter and went unclaimed. He has a bit of an eye infection, and his eyes are also a bit dry, but we are working on that, and he should be just fine very soon.

Came in as a stray thru Animal Services. He is being treated for Heartworm, and can't be released from Rescue until his test results are negative.

She was found wandering the streets of MIami, and was in very poor condition when brought to us. She had obviously just recently had a litter, and had an infection in both eyes that has cut her tear production to "zero". We are working on trying to "jump start" the tear production with medication and save her eyes, but surgery may be the only route........and it is costly. Please help us help her..........
